Maybe a Negative Week??

I feel like maybe this is a negative week or my family is just cursed??? Not really sure on any of that, but again it seems my child is being wronged....wronged??, is that even a word??
Last night my middle daughter had a softball All Star game and it started out great! We got the chalk to write on the car, we are wearing our supportive colors and we arrive on time and Jessie is in a great mood, we talked about softball all the way there......she is a sports aholic....loves softball and damn good at it if I do say so myself......She starts the first inning out in left field....I feel good about that, that is ok.....she gets up to bat and hits the ball and gets to 2nd base because of an error.....This is when the shit starts.....The coach puts in a pinch runner for her and tells her that this girl is faster than her.....well I would of course believe that if this girl was not 2 times the weight of my daughter and may move along just a smidge faster than Jessie.....After this Jess does not move from the bench the whole rest of the game.......The coach then tells her that in the 6th inning she gets to bat, well when she goes to get ready he tells her never mind and puts in the girl that ran for her.........Keep in mind that this girl also missed 2 practices and a doubleheader practice game?????? Yet she gets to play the majority of the game???? while Jess sits on the bench???Explain this to me???
Well the streak of her riding the pine did not get much better and now the girls are going to the State Tourny in Chehalis and we had to make a decision whether we were going to send her or not....it is quite a drive there everyday and gas aint cheap baby........But we decided not to take this experience away from her, she is part of a team and derserves to be there...I am excited for her and I hope that she has a great time!!
Now I only hope that the boys go all the way!!!
