Fourth of July at the Beach Baby!!

We had such an amazing time at the beach for fourth, we drove up to Long Beach the day before and got settled into the little house that we rented for a couple days. It was ok, not the nicest home we have ever rented but it fit us just fine and it was back in the woods a little bit. All that mattered was that we were away from home and at the Beach, Our favorite place to be!!
On the day of the fourth we packed up our lunch and toys and were off for a full day on the sand....At first it was not too crowded, but boy as the day went on the beach started to get fuller and fuller. Long Beach is the longest beach that you can drive on, so it makes it really nice when you have a family like mine where you pack everything in the house with you when you go anywhere...But Long Beach is great! Thousands of people come to watch the city fireworks and they bring all their own so the whole beach is lit up all day long and into the night....It is an amazing thing to see. We have made it a family tradition to go there on the Fourth every year!! The kite flying is awesome there too.
